Joanne Kathleen Rowling, better known as JK Rowling was born on July 31, 1965 in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol, England. As a single mother who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, Rowling became an international literary spotlight in 1999 when the first three series of teen novels Harry Potter took the top three places in the list of New York Times best-seller after the victory of the same in the United Kingdom. Rowling's wealth grew as the 4th series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was published in July 2000. This series is a best-selling book in history.
Pioneer Harry Potter
As a graduate of Exeter University, Rowling moved to Portugal in 1990 to teach English. There he met and married a Portuguese journalist. Their daughter, Jessica was born in tahun1993. After her marriage ended in divorce, Rowling moved keEdinburgh together with his son living near Rowling's sister house. In Edinburgh, Rowling facing problem to support themselves and their children. During his life in distress, Rowling began to write a book. It said Rowling got the idea of writing the book on his way up the train from Manchester to London in 1990.
